Hello. I'm a developer that digs fast, fastidious, and fantastic <code>.

A little about me:

I was hatched in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, raised in Small-City, Ohio, and film-schooled in Orlando. I briefly lived the low/no dream in the Los Angeles film and television industry. I'm currently living with my partner, Amber, and our chocolate lab, Maddie, in Columbus, Ohio. I’m into technology, podcasts, reading, music, writing, playing piano, sci-fi, populist politics, history, tabletop games, humanism, martial arts, playing sports, and the MCU. "Nuff said!"

My journey in tech began when I bought a Roland drum machine and a Tascam, 12-track, analog recorder, and started making music in the basement. (Sorry, Mom and Dad.) It continued with a degree in film and video production, followed by a stint in film and television, and then a stretch in the audiovisual industry. I’m currently transitioning to web development and look to put all of my acquired tech skills to good use!

My focus is writing accurate, well-formatted HTML by hand to make sure that the content is easy to read and easy to troubleshoot — making it easy to collaborate.

I pride myself on writing CSS that is easy to read and build on. I focus on keeping my CSS lean and fast to load, and I make it a habit to stay up to date on current best practices.
